Image Analysis - APEX2 graphical interface

The APEX2 graphical interface provides all tools required for a detailed analysis of the diffraction images and the resulting data sets.

Users are excited about the ease-of-use of the intuitive image analysis plug-in. Next to zoom and panning functions, resolution rings, 3-D views, line graphs, and rocking curves of the reflections can be displayed. While you move the mouse pointer over the displayed diffraction pattern intensities, resolution, geometries are updated constantly. These tools greatly facilitate diagnosis in general and are particularly useful in more challenging cases, including twinning, diffuse scattering, modulation, prior to the complete data collection. For the analysis of complete data sets more advanced tools are delivered with the APEX2 suite.
